The Hutt News Petone Rotary Fair is Petone Rotary's Principal Fundraising Event.

The Fair gives Petone Rotary the ability to support many community groups and charities, not only in the immediate area but also throughout New Zealand and abroad.

A few examples of how we help:

  • Britannia House - Petone Rotary is a long-time supporter, in raising funds and is currently working to purchase a new vehicle
  • International Scholarships - Petone Rotary sponsors youth exchange students internationally
  • Family Focused Initiatives - Women's Refuge, Foodbank, Jackson Street Health Centre, Gift of Green, The Incredible Years Trust, Books in Homes, Thumbs Up Trust, Te Omanga Hospice, Petone Air Training Corps and Sea Cadets, the Cancer Foundation, Red Puppy Appeal
  • Local Civil Defence water storage - Petone Rotary upgraded the capacity of Petone Central School water tanks
  • Neighbourhood Support program - Petone Rotary & Petone Residents Association working together.
  • Books in Homes - we continue to help with literacy and providing children with the tools they need to succeed
  • Youth Development - Petone Rotary sponsors enable young people to attend life development courses throughout New Zealand
  • Shelter Boxes - Major Disasters such as the Haiti Earthquake has seen us send vital supplies internationally

Petone Rotary is extremely grateful to HUTT NEWS for advertising sponsorship, all stall holders and the public for the amazing support the Fair gets and without which our ability to help others would be far more challenging.

The date for the next Petone Rotary Fair is yet to be conformed but will be in February 2013
